Connect Merge

Connect Merge is a "Topological-Synthesis" puzzle game. The technical core involves "Path-Summation Logic." Unlike standard 2048, players can connect chains of identical numbers (2−2−2−2) across a grid. The resulting merged block takes the position of the last connected cell and sums the value (often to the next power of 2). It tests "Spatial Planning," as the path you draw determines where the new block ends up, crucial for setting up future combos.

You see a grid of numbered bubbles. Your goal is to merge them into higher values. Interaction involves "Drag-to-Connect." Trace a line through adjacent identical numbers (horizontal, vertical, diagonal). A chain of at least two is required. The result is a single bubble with the next tier value (e.g., connecting two '2's creates a '4'). You must prevent the grid from filling up with no valid moves.

High scores depend on "Endpoint Manipulation." The merged block appears at the "End of your Finger's Path." Use this to transport values across the board. If you need a '16' in the corner, draw your chain towards that corner. A pro strategy is "Snake-Pathing"—making long, winding connections to clear maximum board space in one turn. Try to set up "Triangles" of identical numbers so you can merge them into a specific central spot.
